Scope of work
What I have learned?
Role: Design Member
Event Purpose: Raise awareness among RMIT students about the environmental and social impacts of fast fashion on a global scale.

-
Collaborated with Ecosystem Department to conceptualize and execute a cohesive visual identity for the external campaign “FADSEN” – themed “Wear to Last, Not for Fads.”

-
Produced 2 key media design products in alignment with the event’s art direction:
-
Official Event Poster – capturing the campaign’s Gen Z-inspired, bold and eye-catching identity to attract on-campus foot traffic.
-
Facebook Raise Awareness – optimized for social media engagement, maintaining consistent visuals across digital and physical touchpoints.
-

-
Integrated character illustration and color palettes reflecting themes of emotional consumerism, overconsumption, and sustainability.

-
Supported visibility of sub-activities through visual extensions: e.g. Booth signage, “Emotional Shoppers” awareness panel, and Lifecycle infographic of donated clothes.
-
Understood the importance of visual storytelling in guiding audience attention and driving booth engagement.
-
Enhanced my ability to design within a thematic concept (e.g. Gen Z, retro-futuristic, vibrant aesthetic) while remaining informative and purposeful.
-
Recognized how design can influence sustainable behaviors when paired with clear messaging and thoughtful user journeys (e.g. donation → upcycle → redistribution).
